There a many published studies that show children who play musical instruments have better grades in school, are more focused, and less likely to drop out of school. The Youth Orchestra of Greater Columbus (YOGC) is recruiting students with musical talent for their 2012-2013 year. Anyone within a 50 mile radius of Columbus can join.
Auditions will be held on Saturday, August 18 by appointment only. To schedule an audition you must complete an application and call 706-256-3614 to schedule your audition time. If you would like to download an audition brochure, please click here.
The YOGC is auditioning for the following instruments only:
- All Strings
- Oboe
- Flute
- Bassoon
- French Horn
- Trombone
- Tuba
- Percussion
