4-Year-Olds & Entering Kindergartners
In this program, your child will develop the reading-readiness skills and motivation that make learning to read easy, enjoyable, and successful.
Your child will enjoy learning alphabet skills and beginning phonics using a colorful workbook and musical CDs.
You and your child will both enjoy this program. It features great children’s literature, enjoyable games, and many other engaging activities.
Entering 1st-5th Graders
In these programs, students develop strong phonics and decoding skills, build sight vocabulary, learn to read more fluently and rapidly, and make significant gains in reading comprehension.
Learning these skills will make reading easier and more enjoyable and will greatly increase your child’s confidence in school.
Our students become fully absorbed in books and develop the lifelong habit of reading for pleasure.
Our Teachers
• Our reading skills programs are taught by professional teachers from the Institute of Reading Development, a leader in reading instruction since 1971.
• Institute teachers are lifelong readers, dedicated to sharing the academic and personal rewards of reading.
Reading Program Schedule
Tuition and materials fees vary by program level. Please ask about our family discount.
Program R: For 4-year-olds and entering kindergartners (must be 4 years old when class begins)
Program 1: For entering 1st graders
Program 2: For entering 2nd graders
Program 3: For entering 3rd graders
Program 4: for entering 4th and 5th graders
All programs meet once each week.
