Dream Roll is an annual bowling fundraiser to sponser children and young adults with special needs through the operation of Camp Dream and other recreational events. Our donors, staff, and volunteers work together to restore fun and excitement to those who are denied many joys due to challenging physical and mental conditions.
Dream Roll 2011 was a fantastic success! We raised nearly $8,000 and sponsored a bunch of kids for camp. This year we’re looking to do even better, with more kids bowling! Campers sign up to participate as bowlers, then the camper, their family and friends, and counselors go out and get pledges and donations in the name of that camper. The camper bowls and gets sponsorship money for themselves and other kids like them. It works a little like a charity walk, but these funds go directly to the benefit of the individual child! Any money raised by the camper in excess of the campership amount is put into a pool to sponsor more children.
