FDR State Park is hosting three Horseback Riding Camps for kids this summer.
Summer Horseback Riding Camp (Age 10-16)
Monday, June 4 through Friday, June 8
F.D. Roosevelt State Park – Pine Mountain
Kids will learn about wilderness survival, interact with native wildlife, play games and spend time with their peers. All campers will receive one camp T-shirt. Register before May 28. Sponsored by Friends of Fort Yargo and presented by Earthen Excursions. $65 for the first child; $55 for a second child; $45 for third child. $5 parking. (678) 963-8891.
Horseback Riding Camp (Age 6-10)
Monday, June 11 through Friday, June 15

Each day we spend mornings working with the horses and riding. Afternoons we will swim and have arts and crafts. The last day we spend the morning on a Lunch Ride and an afternoon program for parents. Register by May 26, 2012. $5 parking. (706) 628-7463.
