The 5th annual Char-broil Pig Bowl will be held Friday evening, April 27 from 6-8pm. BBQ lovers are invited to sample BBQ from a list of teams competing and then vote on their favorite to elect “The People’s Choice” award. This contest is on a first come, first serve basis, participants are encouraged to arrive early! Live music by Mudcat from Atlanta, GA. Columbus Regional and Scott Ressmeyer will be on hand to announce their team of Miracle Riders for their annual Children’s Miracle Network Fundraiser.
On Saturday, the smoke in the air continues with a KCBS (Kansas City Barbecue Society) sanctioned cook off. This event will once again host many of the top professional BBQ cooking teams in the Southeast. Guests take-in Outside World Outfitters kayak demonstrations, the Car Show and Bass Pro Catfish Tournament.
