The Mogadishu Mile Memorial Run commemorates the six rangers killed during Operation Gothic Serpent on October 3, 1993 in Mogadishu, Somalia. In addition, this event raises funds for rangers wounded or killed during the Global War on Terror.
All funds from the event are donated to the Ranger Assistance Foundation, benefiting Rangers and the heroes of 3rd Ranger Battalion who have given their lives in support of our country.
