There will be a French flair to the National Infantry Museum’s fifth annual 1775 Society Gala this year. Paris Lights . . . Celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the Liberation of Paris is planned for Saturday, August 16, 2014. Consul General and Mrs. Denis Barbet from the French Consulate in Atlanta will be the special guests.
The black-tie gala is the museum’s signature fundraiser and is hosted by the 1775 Society. The evening will begin with a cocktail reception and silent auction at 6 p.m., followed by dinner and dancing. The 10:30 Band will return this year.
