Climb, balance and splash through obstacles ranging from hay bales to mud pits in the Junior Adventure Challenge! The course is designed for youth 4-12 years old. Participants will receive an official finisher’s bandana and medal. Younger children will have a blast in the toddler “free play” area with bounce house, sand tables and more (under your supervision). After tackling the course, stay and enjoy the beauty of Chewacla State Park and a celebration pizza party for all participants.
Find the course at the top lawn of Chewacla State Park, 124 Shell Toomer Parkway, Auburn. Participants will receive a park map and directions. Park entry fee will be waived for participants. The finishers party will be held in the pavilion adjacent to the course.
All proceeds of the annual children’s obstacle course will be contributed to programs aimed at improving the health and wellness of Lee County’s children. In partnership with the Food Bank of East Alabama, the JLLC supports the Weekend Backpack Program. Founded in 2012, this program provides children from food insecure homes with a portion of their weekend nutritional needs.
