Cyclists of all ages and experience levels are invited to join MidTown, Inc. and the River Valley Regional Commission for a bicycle tour of Historic MidTown on Sunday, October 14. The 11-mile, family-friendly route begins at Lakebottom Park beside the volleyball nets, includes eleven historic stops, the Fall Line Trace, and an energizing station at the offices of MidTown, Inc.
The ride will conclude at the Lakebottom Bandshell with a reception for participants hosted by the RVRC.
The group will begin the ride at 1:30 p.m., escorted by the Columbus Police Department Bicycle Unit. Helmets are required and riders under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent. Registration is $10 and includes a t-shirt and giveaways. Bike rental is available through Ride On Bikes for an additional $10.
