Enjoy a day visiting Oxbow’s resident alligators while exploring the amazing world of gardening and farming! On Friday, April 5, 2013 from 10am-2pm, your family will enjoy a day with Oxbow Meadows’ staff members, Master Gardeners, Muscogee County and Harris County 4-H Clubs, local urban gardeners, GA Urban Agricultural Center, Farm Bureau, Fort Valley State University Life on the Farm, local beekeepers, and more! Explore all of our exhibitors through a series of stations that will feature lessons on seeds, plants, gardens, earthworms, pollinating bees, farming, and essential water resources. This day promises to be full of southern-style educational entertainment!
Event Location: Alligators & Agriculture will be held on the grounds of Oxbow Meadows Environmental Learning Center, located at 3535 South Lumpkin Road, Columbus, GA 31903. For detailed directions, please click here.
