Teach your children the importance of taking care of the environment!
This event will consist of clean up activities both around the Chattahoochee and the nature center. We have a new paved trail that runs near a few small streams that feed into the Hooch and then around to a new dock.
This section of the clean up event will be appropriate for children 4 and older with parental guidance.

Help the Hooch is the single largest River and Creek cleanup event in the Southeast. Our mission is to protect the water resources of the Middle Chattahoochee River Basin by removing solid waste from our waterways and to promote environmental stewardship in the Tri-Communities of Columbus, GA, Phenix City, AL, and Ft. Benning Military Reservation.
