October 15th is National Infant Death Awareness Day.
In recognition, The Medical Center’s Parent Advisory Council (PAC) invites you to join us for a special remembrance service.
The service will be a time to honor the lives affected by infant death whether through miscarriage, stillbirth, prematurity, complications at birth, SIDS, or by any other tragedy.

This is a day set aside to remember those who lives have been affected by loss of a pregnancy or infant. To assist with the healing process and be comforted in a time of pain and to have hope for the future.

Many families who have experienced a pregnancy or child loss have relayed that this occasion gave them the opportunity to receive support, share their experience and gain closure.
What is the history and how do I get more information
Pregnancy and Infant Lost Remembrance Day is to promote Support, Education and Awareness for grieving parent nationwide (and worldwide). On September 28, 2006, House Resolution # 222 was passed in the House of Representatives supporting the goals and ideas of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. All faiths and beliefs are welcome, this is a Non-denominational program.
Who is invited?
Parents, grandparents, siblings, relatives and friends are invited for this special day of remembrance.
