Come join us for an elaborate evening at Lake Meriwether in Woodbury, Georgia on July 3rd. This is an annual event each year. Great food and kids activities for all ages are lined up. On-going entertainment is on tap throughout the evening until the fireworks celebration begins. A spectacular firework show at 10pm will start your Independence Celebration in Meriwether County.

WTVM, the cities of Columbus and Phenix City are proud to offer this event for the entire family. This annual event will attract over 30,000 people to both sides of the river. Scheduled from 5pm until the fireworks display, there will be fun for the whole family! Fireworks Celebration after dark!
Auburn-Opelika Fourth of July celebration

Gates open at 6 p.m. and the fireworks begin at 9 p.m. This year’s Fourth of July celebration takes place at Duck Samford Stadium in Auburn. Music by the Weston Burt Band, fun activities, balloon art for the kids and fireworks. Bring a picnic or buy food on site from Country’s Barbecue. Parking will be available on East University Drive near the old Duck Samford Fields. Rain date: Tuesday, July 5 at 9 p.m.
