Calling all BBQ lovers! Bash on the Banks is scheduled for Friday, April 26 and Saturday, April 27 on the banks of the beautiful Chattahoochee River. Uptown Bash on the Banks, a celebration of BBQ, rockin’ music and good times is sure to please everyone.

Starting the BBQ frenzy off, the Char-Broil® Pig Bowl People’s Choice Awards will be held Friday evening, April 26 from 6-8 p.m. BBQ lovers are invited to sample BBQ from a list of teams competing and then vote on their favorite to elect the “People’s Choice” award. This contest is open to the public on a first come, first serve basis and participants are encouraged to arrive early!
With a sample cup of BBQ sauce in hand, BBQ lovers can taste their favorite BBQ while enjoying the sounds of the band Mudcat from Atlanta, while others partake in a Corn Hole Tournament.
On Saturday, from 11am until 5pm, the smoke in the air continues with The 5th Annual Char-Broil Pig Bowl sanctioned by KCBS (Kansas City Barbecue Society)/GBC (Georgia Barbecue Championship) cook-off. This event will once again host many of the top professional BBQ cooking teams in the Southeast. Guests will be able to observe Outside World Outfitters kayak demonstrations while the Columbus Police Department showcases its Annual Car Show and the Big Cat Quest Catfish Tournament will also be taking place.
