Basic information about the womanly art and science of breastfeeding is covered in this class. The advantages to mother and baby and the realities of breastfeeding are discussed, as well as techniques to get off to the best start, combining breastfeeding and a busy lifestyle and handling common concerns. This 3 hour class on Wednesday evenings OR on Saturday morning is taught by an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and is held in the Columbus Regional Lactation Center & Boutique. Fathers/Partners are encouraged to attend with mom!
