This breast feeding class is designed to support and education parents with the natural art of breast feeding. Topics included in the course are:
- benefits of breast feeding
- skin to skin contact
- anatomy and physiology
- types of breast milk
- dietary requirements for mothers
- proper positioning and latch-on
- storage of breast milk
- baby’s daily feeding record
One registration per couple is required. Spouses or support persons are highly encouraged to attend. If class participation is high we may run a little over.
