Clydesdale Horses Meet and Greet 2014
Hang out with the hitch and get your picture taken with these living legends!
First introduced in 1933 after the repeal of Prohibition, the Clydesdales have served as a living symbol of not just Budweiser, but the unconquerable American spirit as well for over 80 years.
Famous worldwide for their appearances in parades, television broadcasts and even Presidential inaugurations, they’re now set to make their most important appearance yet – the one with you!

Here is a list of their appearances:
- Dec 10 from 4-7pm ~ The eight-horse hitch will be harnessed and hitched to the famous red beer wagon on at Columbus Park Crossing. During this appearance, they will be making special beer deliveries throughout the shopping center to several restaurants, including Buffalo Wild Wings and Olive Garden.
- Dec 11 from 4-7pm ~ For their second appearance, the hitch will be featured at the Fort Benning Main Post Exchange, paying a special tribute to military members and their families.
- Dec. 13 at 10am ~ The “Gentle Giants,” as they are often referred to, will also be featured in the Annual Bi-City Christmas Parade taking place in downtown Columbus/Phenix City.
- Dec 14 from 3-5pm ~ To finish out their week in Columbus, the Budweiser Clydesdales will make a stop at Old Town, Woodruff’s newest development, for a Sunday Funday block party. The event is open to the public.
