Come watch history in action at the National Civil War Naval Museum at Port Columbus. Scenes from the capture of the ship will be reenacted onboard the rebuilt full scale model of the Civil War ship outside the museum.
A living history camp with demonstrations of period military activities from naval blacksmithing to rope making will also be in the area of the ship. Civil War era sailors and Marines will be on hand to talk to visitors on both the Friday and Saturday following Thanksgiving.
