Kids love helping to make salt dough and they will have even more fun decorating these salt dough Easter eggs.
Salt dough is super easy to make. Once baked to thoroughly dry, the dough is hard and can last for years.

- 1/2 cup water
- Rolling pin
- Egg shape cutter
- Spatula
- Straw, for making holes
- Parchment-paper covered baking sheets
- Acrylic paint, multiple colors
- Paint pens, optional

Place cut shapes on the parchment-covered baking sheet. Bake at 250F for 2 hours; allow to cool.
Decorate with paints. Allow to dry thoroughly and spray with a clear coat sealer on both sides to preserve.
Loop twine or ribbon through the holes and hang.
