Papa’s Angels is the heart-warming story about a widower and his family facing their first Christmas without their beloved wife and mother. The four siblings must somehow find a way to draw their father out of his crippling grief. At the height of their hopelessness, aided by their wise Grammy, they devise a plan to help Papa, and themselves, through a troubled time.
Come watch this rare treasure that reminds us that love can triumph through any experience of sadness and loss, and that the wisdom of a child can redeem the world.
The play is set during the Great Depression in 1935 in the Appalachian Mountains near North Highlands, North Carolina.
