Golf’s sudden appeal can be accomplished in just one shot and result in a free trip to Augusta. Begin with a booming drive which lands in the fairway. Then a chip bounces and rolls on the green before gently hitting the flagstick for a hole out. Finally, a putt tracks toward the hole, catches the lip and settles at the bottom. These shots make up the Drive, Chip and Putt Championship, open to boys and girls between the ages of 7 and 15. This free nationwide competition gives juniors of all skills levels many memorable moments, concluding with a free trip for finalists and their guardian to the ultimate finale on Sunday, April 6, 2014 at the Augusta National Golf Club, home of the Masters Tournament.
The Drive, Chip and Putt Contest offers a fun, fast and forever experience.
