Kids ages 8 years and up are invited to participate in the following two classes. Class fees are due at the beginning of each class.
CLASS 1: Beginning Sewing Class 101
Learn how to make quick and easy pillowcases with a french seam. I will
also go over sewing machine basics, how to read patterns and how to choose
the right fabric for each project.
When: Tuesday, June 28th
Time: 5 – 8 pm
Age: 8 and up
Price: $25
Supplies Needed: Sewing Machine, 3/4 yd of main fabric, 1/4 for
contrasting, 1.5 inches x width of fabric for trim, scissors, matching
thread, and pins. Optional – ruler and cutting mat. Please contact me with
any questions.
Location: Hobby Lobby in the classroom that is in the back of the store.
CLASS 2: Fabric Flower Class
Learn how to make 5 different flowers with fabric, felt, paper and crepe paper.
When: Monday, June 27th
Time: 6 to 8 pm
Age: 8 and up
Price: $30 supplies included to make 5 flowers
Supplies Needed: Glue gun and glue sticks or craft glue, Needle and scissors. (Optional – I will provide enough to make one flower out of each but feel free to bring extras of felt squares, double sided paper, fabric and buttons.)
Location: Hobby Lobby in the classroom that is in the back of the store.
