Sometimes your choices take you farther than you intended. When Gideon decides to leave home, it’s because he feels his life is too small. His parents’ rules are too restrictive, his brother is too over-bearing, and his adventures too few. So, he claims his inheritance and leaves for the bus station. While Gideon chooses new relationships and experiences, his family at home struggles with how to respond to his absence.
Down the Dirt Path is a modern telling of the Prodigal Son and reminds us that we all need forgiveness. Written by Jessica Stephens and Leslie Cardwell.
