The Peaceful Glen Memorial Players are meeting to decide on their next production when Blair Beesley, daughter of the building’s owner, informs them that her family is about to take back the building. When the president of the board persuades Blair to direct the next production, she chooses to direct Shakespeare’s tragedy King Lear. Pat Cook’s Luau for King Lear is a hilarious look into the world of community theatre.
Family Theatre is delighted to present Luau for King Lear as its final production for the 2012-2013 season. Featuring some Family Theatre acting favorites as well as several newcomers to our stage, audiences will be entertained with an evening of laughter and merriment.
Luau for King Lear opens Friday, May 24. Come celebrate Memorial Day Weekend with Family Theatre and the Peaceful Glen Memorial Players. The play is directed by Cheryl M. Palmour
