All the proceeds of the event will be donated equally to the above organizations.
The goal of this annual event, in addition to recognizing Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., will be to provide the African-American, Hispanic and other minority communities with a jump-start toward a healthy lifestyle at the beginning of each year. A fun-filled morning accompanied by a health fair at the conclusion of the race, which will be provided by St. Francis Hospital.
