Astrology is a complex language of symbols. Properly understood, the positions of heavenly bodies can reveal much about “why” things happen on Earth without making or causation to make them happen. Each week the class works its way around the zodiac wheel one sign at a time. Each sign is discussed as one stage in a cycle of development beginning with Aries and ending with Pisces. In this light each sign also represents a universal need, this need motivates us to certain behaviors aimed at meeting those needs. With each lesson the relevant planet is also discussed and mythology (another symbolic language) is used to amplify the meaning and ultimate purpose represented by each sign/planet pairing.
