The Columbus State Department of History and Geography is hosting a geocaching activity — a high-tech scavenger hunt activity using Global Positioning Systems (GPS) — starting 6 p.m. Tuesday in front of the Yancey Center at One Arsenal Place on CSU’s RiverPark campus. The program is free and open to all ages, with CSU providing the GPS units. Participants will form geocaching teams to explore the surrounding community and search for hidden clues or objects called geocaches. Prizes will be awarded to the winning team.
