Tie on your tennis shoes and bring your notepads, because Dorothy McDaniel from Trees Columbus is teaming up with the Museum to bring us a lecture and a tree walk in our historic Bradley Olmsted Garden! Lucky participants will first hear a brief history of the Garden, designed in 1928 by the firm of Frederick Law Olmsted, which incorporated sweeping vistas, rose gardens, and massive plantings for dramatic effect. Slow down and take time to appreciate and learn about the remarkable trees and their role in the health and beautification of this important local landmark. Reserve your spot by October 16th by calling 706-748-2562 ext. 544 or emailing [email protected].
