History in the Valley: Next Stop on the Creek Heritage Trail to be Unveiled at Oxbow Meadows Environmental Learning Center
Join the Historic Chattahoochee Commission and the Chattahoochee Indian Heritage Center the unveiling of the next stop on the Creek Heritage Trail.
The HCC and Columbus State University invite you to the unveiling of the next stop on the Creek Heritage Trail on Thursday, May 22nd at 4 PM (ET) at Oxbow Meadows Environmental Learning Center.
This latest installation is a special partnership between the HCC, CSU, the Muscogee (Creek) Nation, and Fort Benning. The panels address a variety of aspects of daily life among the Creek Indians, with an emphasis on the important town of Cusseta. The site of Cusseta lies within what is now Fort Benning.
