Homeschool Naturalist Program – There’s a Fungus Among Us

Join Oxbow on select Second Tuesday for our Homeschool Series that provides hands-on, inquiry based science and environmental curriculum for students in Kindergarten to 6th grade. Programs will include activities to enhance learning in both the indoors and outdoors.
Cost: The cost of each individual program is $5. Parents that would like to attend the program are also charged $5. Space is limited to 25 students per class.
Student Age: All students in grades Kindergarten to 6th grade
Program Times: Arrive at 8:45 to sign-in; programs will begin at 9:00am and end at 11:00am.
Parents: You are welcome to attend any Homeschool Naturalist Program. If you choose to attend, we ask that you also pay the $5 program fee and also actively participate in the program to make the program fun and educational for all. We also ask that all parents/chaperones please turn off all cellphones during the program.
Registration Policy: Payment is needed to complete your registration and is non-refundable unless the class in cancelled by Oxbow Meadow’s staff. Pre-registration and advance payment is required by the registration deadline to hold your spot in class. Students will be placed into the appropriate age group when they arrive. Registration will close the Friday before each program date. To register please call 706.507.8550. Payments can be accepted over the phone.
Space is limited to 25 students per class.
Cancellation Policy: Please notify Oxbow Meadows of any cancellation at least 24 hours before the program begins. If you provide us with a 24 hour notification, we will issue you a voucher for a class fee (or equal value) or register you for an alternative class.
