Historic Westville announces it’s annual Independence Day Celebration.
Friday, July 4
10 a.m.- 5 p.m.
On the 4th of July, we celebrate the Holiday with old fashioned fun!
Join us for three legged races, sack races, greased pole climb, hobby horse races, apple bobbing, tug of war, live music, and a watermelon eating and seed spitting contest.
Try the tomahawk throw, the greased pole climb, and many other activities!
Bring your patriotic decorated stroller, wagon, wheelchair or dress yourself in red–white–and blue and join our parade through the village.
Instead of firecrackers we will do what was done here back in the day….we will blow the anvil every hour. It is LOUD!!
There will be boiled peanuts and kettle corn to snack on while you play.
The Kiser House Restaurant will be serving: BBQ and rib plates, corn-on-the cob, and Strawberry-blueberry shortcake.
