Columbus Regional Healthcare System Unveils New Corporate Identity
“Born out of need along the banks of the Chattahoochee, we’ve grown up here. And our calling to do the right thing has never wavered. Today, we are part of something bigger. We are a different kind of Health Company – with a drive to motivate forward health. This is our time. We’re special, we’ve got attitude, and just like Columbus – we’ve got soul. We are here to make our communities better places to live.”
Nearly three decades after its founding, Columbus Regional Healthcare System unveiled its new corporate identity this week, taking a stand for prevention, health, wellness and fitness in the community and the region.
A new corporate name (Columbus Regional Health), new facility names and a modern logo representing the organization’s five core values of Attitude, Commitment, Enthusiasm, Innovation and Teamwork were introduced to employees late last week. While the John B. Amos Cancer Center name remains unchanged, other entities in the health system unveiled their new names today:
- Midtown Medical Center (formerly The Medical Center)
- Northside Medical Center (formerly Hughston Hospital)
- Doctors Specialty Hospital (formerly Doctors Hospital)
- Columbus Regional Medical Group (formerly Columbus Regional Physician Group)
- Columbus Regional Health Foundation (formerly Columbus Regional Medical Foundation)
