History Now! • Living History and Museum Theatre Festival

10 a.m. – Living History Interpretation – 1000 Block of Broadway
11 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. – History Now Event – National Civil War Naval Museum, 1002 Victory Drive
A Sailor’s Life — a living history program on what daily life was like aboard ship, conducted by an interpreter in period uniform — will take place at 10 a.m. at the 1000 Block of Broadway. From 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Museum, History Now will feature museum theatre and living history performances interpreting the 11th to 20th centuries through performing arts. Programming will include participants from The Knights of Pendragon (jousting), Mercury Studios in Los Angeles, The Smithsonian, Colonial Williamsburg, The Liberty Theatre, The National Civil War Naval Museum, and Columbus State University. Admission is free for members, regular admission for non-members ($6 – $7.50).
