“It’s that time of year,” said Dr. Robert Chrzanowski, who practices at the Allergy Clinic at Brookstone. “People are suffering, but fortunately, it’s only about 15-20 percent of the public.”
Sufferers fall into one of three categories: mild, mild-moderate and persistent. Chrzanowski said people with mild allergies typically take over-the-counter medicines, while persistent patients need regular medication, such as steroids or even allergy shots.
