MCSD Transition Fair: What’s next after high school?

Muscogee County School District is holding a Transition Fair!
This is a free event offering students with disabilities or on a 504 plan and their families access to agencies providing services for use now or as they transition into post high school employment and or training.
Our target audience is students in 6th through 12 grades.
Keynote Speakers:
Dan Parker, a motorcyclist who is blind and
Jaylon O’Neal, author of Autism: In My Own Words and Early College student.
The Transition Fair will offer the opportunity to hear from and ask questions of private and public agencies, colleges, and businesses that provide a variety of services and opportunities. Vendors will cover topics on Person Centered Planning, Inclusive College Programs, recreation & Leisure, daily living & supports, employers, training opportunities, vocational and college information.
Please join us for this free event to include a light meal.

This year’s event is hosted by the Muscogee County School District, Fort Benning Community Services (ASC) Exceptional Family Member Program, Goodwill, Vocational Rehabilitation, CONTACT, Columbus State University, and High School/High Tec Program.
