The first Thursday of every May is National Day of Prayer — a day set aside by the President of the United States to encourage Americans of all faiths to turn to God in prayer. Here are several opportunities for the public to participate.

Epworth United Methodist in Phenix City is hosting a special service. Everyone is welcome. Located at 3763 Hwy 431 North, Phenix City.
May 6 @ 5:30-7 p.m.
National Day of Prayer will be held at the Phenix City Amphitheater. Special concert by Justin Belew, Elsie Horne, Haden Sammons and Tim Maggart, with special guest speakers followed by a time of prayer for our city and our nation. People of all faiths are encouraged to attend. Donations will be taken for the Lee- Russell Benevolence Fund. RAIN LOCATION: BETHANY BAPTIST CHURCH – 2051 Pierce Road, Phenix City.
