Get into the spirit of Christmas at the Columbus Botanical Garden! Two programs will be offered on Saturday, December 8 that will inspire your creativity and show you how to make spectacular Christmas displays sure to make your home beautiful and bright for guests this holiday season.
10 am – 12 noon – Kim Nelson, AIFD and owner of Bloomwoods Flowers at The Landings, will show you how to work color into your mantel and table designs using plants and cut materials to enhance your Christmas décor- naturally. Her helpful tips and imaginative design ideas are sure to provide creative inspiration and help transform your home for the holidays! Cost: $20 members / $25 non-members
12 noon – 1 pm – Lunch – Cost $7 per person / Free if you sign up for both sessions
1 pm – 3pm – Columbus Botanical Garden volunteers will demonstrate how to make Christmas wreaths and mailbox toppers. During this workshop, participants will be using live greens and natural materials to create one of these outdoor decorations that will add festive cheer to the Christmas season! All supplies (straw wreath forms, pins, wire, etc.) will be provided, including an abundance of natural materials. Bring hand pruners! Cost: $35 members / $40 non-members
