Naturally Christmas Floral Design at the Columbus Botanical Gardens
Get into the spirit of Christmas at the Columbus Botanical Garden! Join Samantha Grey and the CBG floral designers as they inspire your creativity and show you how to make two spectacular seasonal displays, wreaths and swags – the perfect holiday welcome for family and guests!
Following a demonstration and an overview of basic construction tips, Samantha and the CBG floral design instructors will guide you through the process of creating either your own holiday wreath or swag using live greens and natural materials.
In addition, information about some of our favorite plant materials, tips for collecting decorative items throughout the year, how to create that beautiful holiday bow plus lots of hands-on instruction and guidance will be provided!
All natural materials and forms will be supplied and participants take home either the wreath or swag that they assemble. Seating is limited, so register early! Participants should bring a pair of hand pruners; 3-inch wide, wired ribbon (5 yards) and lots of Christmas spirit!
