iSpy Walking Tour for Kids
April 9, 2011 @ 7:45 p.m.
May 14, 2011 @ 8:15 p.m.
June 4, 2011 @ 8:30 p.m.
The iSpy tour offers children 4-10 years of age a variety of interactive experiences that delve into local history and tantalize their perceptions of reality.
During the walking tour, kids use flashlights to search for answers to historical events. Games of iSpy include red light/green light, finding encrypted messages and discovering history through sensory clues. The kids will be having so much fun they won’t even know that they are learning something.
The adventure ends with a game of hide-n-seek at dark.
Be sure to bring your own flashlight, bug spray and water.
Location:
Tour meets at Heritage Park (across from the Coca-Cola Space Science Center) and is 45 minutes, covering 5 blocks.
Cost:
$8 (Parents/Guardians and non-participating children are free).
