Second Saturday is a FREE family event each month! Drop by the Art Cart and create an abstract mosaic inspired by Columbus-native Alma Thomas’ Air View of a Springtime Nursery. Work as family to make a large collaborative group mosaic or design an individual masterpiece. FREE

All-Star Artists – Wild & Classic Paper-cut Self-Portraits

Intermediate Felting Workshop – Adult Program
Building on the techniques learned in the Felting for Beginners workshop and drawing from the inspiration of the Dare to Wear exhibit, participants will create a three-dimensional wearable work of art—a felted handbag. Third Thursday – Betsy Eby & the Asherah Quartet
Join us for a special Third Thursday after-hours experience with artist Betsy Eby. Learn more about the inspiration and process behind the creation of the works in the Painting with Fire exhibition. The artist will give a gallery talk at 6pm, followed by a reception with classical and jazz music performed by the Asherah Quartet highlighting pieces that inspire Eby creatively. Feel the Heat: Contemporary Glass Sculpture Exhibition Opens
Feel the Heat: Contemporary Glass Sculpture highlights the different ways in which glass is used as a medium for contemporary art. Assembled from museum and private collections throughout the southeast, Feel the Heat features over 60 works by masters of studio glass. The exhibit explores a variety of techniques used to create glass objects, including blowing, casting, acid-etching, hot-working, slumping, incalmo, and lampworking. FREE
