Do you get sick of seeing your children glued to a TV set, video game, or other electronic device? Do you wish that they could enjoy exploring the world outside like you once did? Look no further!
Last Child Outside
Saturday, October 22 or Saturday, November 12
9:00 am – 12:00 noon
Students will explore the outdoor world of the Columbus State University campus with a field biologist, and discover the natural marvels that can be found in our own backyards. Live snakes, lizards, and spiders will be used to teach the students about reptile and arachnid identification, safety, and how they benefit nature and us. Explore the world of birds, insects, and small mammals and discover how we can help our planet and those animals we share it with. Come dressed for the weather and bring a water bottle. Bring a camera if you would like to photograph our discoveries!
