Oktoberfest, Fort Benning’s favorite fall tradition, returns to the Uchee Creek Activity Center. Put on your dancing shoes and enjoy traditional German music (including an authentic oompah band), food, games for all ages and a Volksmarch. There is no entry fee for this family event, and it is open to the public! Oans, zwoa, drei, Gsuffa!

Don’t stand in line! Purchase tokens for Oktoberfest today at MWR headquarters on Eckel Avenue. Tokens are $1 each, and you can redeem leftovers for a cash refund. For more information, call 706-545-3328.
Oktoberfest Cross Country 10k Challenge and Volksmarch
The annual Oktoberfest 10K Race will start at 9am October 22 at the Uchee Creek Activity Center, and the family-friendly (and FREE!) 5K Volksmarch will start shortly thereafter. The cost of registration through October 21 is $25 and $35 on race day. The first 100 participants to register will receive a free t-shirt. Awards will be presented to the top three finishers in each division. Register online here or download the registration form and turn it in at Smith Fitness Center.
