Operation Christmas Child Kickoff Event
Operation Christmas Child is a worldwide children’s project of Samaritan’s Purse that uses simple gift-filled shoeboxes containing school supplies, toys, necessity items and notes of encouragement to let hurting children know God loves them and they are not forgotten.
Last year, Chattahoochee Valley residents collected more than 15,000 boxes for OCC. Churches in Columbus, Phenix City, Auburn, Opelika, LaGrange, Valley, Eufaula, Roanoke and other Chattahoochee Valley cities participated.
Join us for a light dinner and snacks offered at 6:30 p.m. EDT followed by a special presentation of a first-hand shoebox distribution in Honduras. There will also be door prizes, and OCC promotional resources will be distributed.
