Register your little ones for summer camps offered by Oxbow Meadows. All of our lead counselors are trained scientists and/or educators who are CPR and First Aid certified.
There is no deadline to register but each camp session is limited to 30 children. Camps fill up quickly so don’t wait!
Wetland Wonders
June 6 – 10 @ 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
Ages: Camp 1 for 3rd – 5th grade, Camp 2 for 6th – 8th grade
Cost: $210 non-members, $170 members
Explore the wetlands surrounding Oxbow Meadows. Catch insects, go for bird watching hikes, and meet live animals that call the wetlands home. Create crafts and play games that teach about the importance of clear water. Leave this camp with an enriched understanding of our wonderful wetlands.
Green Guardians
June 13 – 17 @ 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
Ages: Camp 1 for 3rd – 5th grade, Camp 2 for 6th – 8th grade
Cost: $210 non-members, $170 members
Discover ways to minimize your impact on the environment through games and crafts. Learn how the choices you make affect the planet, and meet some of the rare and endangered species that share our Earth. Finish the week by participating in a group volunteer project that helps improve the environment at Oxbow Meadows.
Naturally Artistic
June 20 – 24 @ 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
Ages Camp 1 for 3rd – 5th grade, Camp 2 for 6th – 8th grade
Cost: $230 for non-members, $185 members
Spend the week creating works of art inspired by nature; photograph wildlife, create pottery with native Georgia clay, make jewelry out of recycled items, and craft paper from plants and flowers. Take home multiple pieces of artwork and leave behind a group art project to beautify the center.
All campers are required to bring their own lunch. Two light snacks will be provided daily.
A $25 administrative fee will be assessed for each change you make to your original registration. No refunds or exchanges will be permitted within two weeks of the start of camp.
