Pine Mountain Trail Workday
Calling all nature lovers! The Pine Mountain Trail (PMT) needs volunteers of all ages for a workday on the trail!
What: A road side trash pickup all along GA 190 through the park in two hours.
Date: Saturday, February 25
Time: 10:00 a.m. Arrive a few minutes before to get assignment section to walk. Most sections are only about 1.3 miles long.
PMT Provides: A safety vest for all, and at 12:00 noon we provide pizza, BBQ sandwiches, fruit and water and soft drinks for all volunteers.
If 60 to 65 volunteers show that day, the cleanup can be accomplished quite quickly! We’ll even have a few prizes for the goofiest things that folks find.
