Why is Preschool Important?
The foundational years for your child’s education begin in the 3 and 4-year-olds classroom. Many essential components are developed during this critical time. We see this ministry to be one of providing a nurturing environment to:
- Offer support for parents as they build their child’s intellectual and language development and communication skills.
- Provide a solid platform for life-long learning and education.
- Help children have a greater understanding of the world around them.
- Enable children and families the opportunity to belong, to be part of a community, and connect with others.
- Develop social and emotional maturity and the ability to relate well to peers and adults.
- Make their first experience in an academic setting a platform for developing a positive attitude toward the idea of school.
- Encourage children to become independent, self confident and curious learners.
- Talk about how God created the world and us, and that He loves us and sent Jesus for us. At this level we pray together, read Bible stories, and participate in weekly chapel time.
