Turtles, snakes, and alligators… oh my! Get up close and personal with Oxbow’s resident reptiles during this program. You will learn about what a reptile is and what kinds of reptiles you may find in your backyard from a live animal presentation.
Our Radical Reptile program is perfect for groups of any size! Each program provides a unique opportunity for exploring nature, participating in hands-on activities, and experiencing a live animal presentation. Programs last one hour, but can be extended for up to an additional hour. Program size is limited to 85 people.

Radical Reptiles Program Extensions:
- Journey Through Nature (30 minutes / $2.50 per person): Participants will learn about all of the different types of plants and animals found in Georgia. This program includes a short guided hike.
- TreeTop Canopy Trail Tour (30 minutes / $2.50 per person): Have you ever wanted to walk on the wild side? Now is your chance! Enjoy magnificent views from our TreeTop Trail, which is suspended 35 feet above the ground, and linked to three platforms surrounding magnificent oaks, hickories, and sweet gum trees. Our 30-minute guided tour offers viewers a chance to observe wetlands, songbirds, vultures, eagles, deer, wood ducks, diverse flora, and other creatures native to our region. Binocular rental is included. Tour size is limited to 30 people; groups of over 15 people will be split in half. Participants must be at least 12 years old OR over 4 feet tall.
