We are a non-profit educational organization that continues to grow every year since our establishment in 2008, because of our countless volunteers’ dedication to our league.

Our Season
Registration begins in July. Teams will be drafted and practices will start in mid-August. Games will begin mid-September and continue throughout November. Playoffs will be held in late November or early December.
Age Group
Football – All ages (5-12) participate in full contact, tackle football. Each season we will field 3 to 5 teams per age group. Age groups are determined by a player’s age as of September 1st of that season.

8 and under (weight limit – 95 lbs. to carry the ball)
10 and under (weight limit – 115lbs to carry the ball)
12 and under (weight limit – 135 lbs. to carry the ball)
Cheer squads are made up of all ages 5-12.
Coaches
Our coaches are selected by a committee and voted on by our board each season. All coaches are required to have a valid NYSCA certification card. If interested in being a coach please contact our leagues’ president (contact info on board page).
Rules for Play: Our teams and referees follow Georgia High School Association’s rules of play for football.
Football Draft
New teams are drafted each season. Once registration has been completed and coaches have been selected, our players will participate in a week of conditioning and tryouts. This week will get our players ready for the season as well as allow the coaches to get to know them. At the end of the week the head coaches will participate in a closed draft, with members of the board present, to select their team. We feel the draft allows for diverse teams each season and minimizes the likely hood of team domination year after year.
Cheerleading Squads
Our cheer squads are made up of all ages 5-12. Squads have approximately 15-20 cheerleaders. We had a Colts, Cowboys, Broncos, Chiefs, and Eagles squads this past season. Each squad will cheer for their team in all age groups at some point during the season. For example, the Colts cheerleaders may cheer for three games of the 6U Colts, three games of the 8U Colts, three games of the 10U Colts, and three games of the 12U Colts. There will occasionally be games where teams do not have cheerleaders for that game. Cheerleaders will approximately have 2 games scheduled each week to cheer. Most coaches conduct 3-4 practices during the week (6:00-8) before the season starts and then let up as the season starts.
Cheerleaders are assigned to squads based on parent’s requests. Priority goes to siblings or cousins of football players, or transporation, etc… All requests are considered but not guaranteed. Once football teams are drafted the cheer coordinator will assign cheerleaders to squads.
Games and Practices
All games and practices are held at our Britt David Football complex as of now, that may change as we continue to grow. Teams may have 1-2 games scheduled per week. Coaches may choose which days to schedule practices. Teams are allowed 4 contact events each week. Teams can practice in shorts and helmets other days of the week if needed. A practice field schedule will be given to coaches. Practices are generally held on weeknights, 6:00 – 8:00.
