The Russell County Child Advocacy Center (RCCAC) is holding its 12th Annual Blue Ribbon Golf Classic fundraiser on Friday, October 4 at 12:45 pm at Lakewood Golf Course.
The day starts off at 12:45 pm with the Golf Ball Drop. Lakewood Golf Course staff cuts 5 holes into the putting green and each hole has a dollar value. There is a $1,000, $500, $250 and two $100 holes. Purchase a golf balls for $5 each or 6 for $25 between 9 am – 12:40 pm. Alabama Power will drop the bucket of balls onto the green and if your ball rolls into one of the holes – YOU WIN!!
Everyone is welcome to join the silent auction that is open to the public. Some of the items up for auction are Atlanta Braves autographed jersey by Tim Hudson; autographed bat by Jason Heyward and Brian McCann; autographed baseballs by Uggla, McCann and Bobby Cox; Tandem Skydives to include video; White Water Rafting basket; Spa Basket; Wine basket; Family Night Basket; Realtree basket; Flight over the Valley (1 hour flight for 2 over the Chattachoochee Valley with a photographer on board) and more! Auction ends at 6:30 pm.
