Judging begins at Noon, with awards presented at 1:30 p.m.
Scarecrows will remain on display from October 2 through Thanksgiving Weekend, 2010.
Awards will be given to 1st, 2nd, 3rd place and People’s Choice winners in both the adult and youth categories.
The only requirement: All scarecrows must contain 50% or more repurposed, reused, or recycled materials. Materials to consider for your entries: mop heads, old clothes, crates, wood, metal and any material that can withstand the elements. Your entries can be done in groups or on your own. The deadline for entry forms and fees has been extended!!
How to Enter: Entry forms and fees must be received by September 17. The entry fee is $10. Saturday, October 2 will be the set-up day for all fully assembled scarecrows. Click Here to View / Print Rules and Entry Form for the Fall 2010, “Scarecrows in the Garden” Contest.
